Our arrival time for Wyatt's surgery is 7:30 in the morning. He can't eat anything after midnight tonight and nothing to drink after 5:30am. They are going to have him breathe into a mask and that should put him about within a couple minutes. He will be sitting on my lap at that time until he is completely out. The IV won't be put into place until he is completely out. That is a huge relief, I have been worried about how things are going to take place. They will be performing both procedures at the same time, which should only take about 20 minutes. Then he is taken to recovery to wake up and we'll see how he feels. I will call around and let everyone know how things go.
