Ellie participated in the Young Authors Contest this year and won! She wrote and illustrated a story called The Magic Kitten. She was part of an awards program and received a medal.
One of the seminars we attended, she had to build a scene with legos and then write a short story about the scene.
This teacher wrote and published a book. Ellie met her and got a signed copy of her book.
