Wyatt and I went caterpillar hunting and found 4 monarch caterpillars. We kept 2 at home and took 2 to his kindergarten class. His class was excited to watch as the caterpillars made a chrysalis and eventually turned into a monarch butterfly. These are the 2 we let go at our house...one was a male and one was a female. Wyatt was excited to let them go, but was a little attached and wanted to catch them again. Hopefully they both are on their way to Mexico or California!
