Kindergarten Field Trip

On Monday, all the kindergarten kids from mom's school came out to the Jenkins farm for a field trip. The kids and I went down to help out. It was a lot of work, but the kids loved it. They visited 8 stations throughout the day like horse grooming, roping, petting zoo, riding a horse, hoof care, colors of horses, parts of a saddle. They ate lunch on straw bales and participated in water relays. There was 81 kindergarten students and about 40 adults. This event even made the news on channel 3! As you can see, Wyatt was in charge of the ducks in the petting zoo

My station was the different colors of horses. We explain the colors, then they had 6 horses to look at and figure out their colors.
