Surprise visit

Yesterday, my mom and dad showed up at our house to surprise us. Wyatt and Ellie (and me) were so excited to see them. They helped us around the house cutting up and burning dead trees. Thanks so much for your help!

We happened to see a garden snake in the yard, so dad decided to try to catch it for the kids to touch. That snake was so fast, slithering up and down the limbs of a little tree. After a few minutes of chasing, dad finally had his hands on him. Ellie was brave enough to touch it, but Wyatt wasn't so sure. This is the third garden snake we have seen around our house so far this year!
