Doctor Appt

Wyatt had his hearing test today. The results weren't real good. He has temporary hearing loss in both ears, his right ear being the worse. There is so much fluid behind the drum, it is blocking the sound from entering. Because of this, he has to have temporary tubes put in. They will do this procedure at the same time they are removing the adenoids. The whole surgery should only take about 20 minutes. The recovery time is pretty fast. He should be able to leave the hospital a couple hours after surgery. He might have a sore throat for about a week and no vigorous activity for a couple weeks. His appointment is scheduled for next Friday, Feb. 12th. They said it should be around mid-morning, but we will know for sure the day before. I will keep you posted!
