Five years ago today JR and I started a new adventure together, not knowing what life would bring us. We ended up finding a home in the small town of Leland, where we knew no one. We were excited to have found a country home where we could have our horses, dog, and cat. JR continued to work with Smith Engineering in Yorkville and I worked at Leland School. We started getting to know people and developing friendships, some that would last a life time. JR has since studied and passed his EI, SIT, and Missouri PLS exams. I went back to school to continue my education with a Masters in Education. In 2005, along came Wyatt. Boy has life changed since then. He is such a blessing and has brought such a joy to our lives. We ask ourselves the famous question...what did we do before Wyatt. We have recently made a huge decision in our lives to move to the St. Louis area. JR took a new job with TWM and we found a duplex in Shiloh until we find a home were we can continue our country living. Doesn't seem like it's been 5 years since we started all of these adventures. We look forward to seeing what life brings us in another 5 years.
